Quick Tour to Tamil Nadu

Destinations Covered : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram - Pondicherry - Trichy - Madurai - Chennai
Day 1 : Chennai (Madras)
Met on arrival at Chennai. Transfer to the hotel. Go on a sightseeing tour of the city in the afternoon visiting
the Parthsarthy Temple, Kapaleeshwar Temple, Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral and National Art Gallery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Chennai – Kanchipuram - Mamallapuram
In the morning we take you for an excursion to Kanchipuram. Shift to Mamallapuram from there. On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Visit the famous Shore Temple and Arjuna's Penance, the world's largest bas-relief, at Mamallapuram. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 3 : Mamallapuram - Pondicherry
Leave for Pondicherry by road in the morning. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. After this we shall go for a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visiting the Auroville Ashram, French War Memorial and the Aayi Mandapam. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Pondicherry - Trichy
Go for some more sightseeing of Pondicherry in the morning. Depart for Trichy by road visiting Chidambaram, Kumbakonam and Gangaikondacholapuram en route.
On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5 : Trichy - Madurai
Start the day exploring the city visiting Srirangam and Jambukeshwara temple.
This is followed by departure for Madurai by road. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 6 : Madurai – Rameshwaram - Madurai
Go for a morning excursion to Rameshwaram. Spend the rest of the day in relaxation.
Pay a visit to the Meenakshi temple in the evening to view the Aarti. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Madurai - Chennai
Spend the morning at leisure. Later transfer to the airport to catch flight for Chennai.
On arrival, transfer to the international airport to catch flight for onward journey. |
