Day 1 : Arrive Chennai

Met on arrival at Chennai. Transfer to hotel. Go for sightseeing of Chennai, and stroll on the popular Marina Beach in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Today we drive to the temple town of Mahabalipuram.

Spend the entire day visiting the temples at Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram including the Cave temples, Rock temples, Monolithic Temples, the famous Shore Temple and also the Five Rathas. Spend the night in the hotel at Mahabalipuram

Day 4 : Tanjore - Trichy

Morning visit to Brihadeeswarar temple in Tanjore, also known as the Big Temple (Periya Koil).

Also see the nearby Punnainallur temple dedicated to Mariamman. Return in afternoon, and then we drive to Trichy.

Day 5 : Trichy - Madurai

In the morning explore the 83m Rock Fort Temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

You have to pass through two cave temples to reach here.

Day 6 : Madurai

In the morning go on a sightseeing tour of Madurai which includes the Gandhi museum, Tirumalai Nayak Mahal and the temple tank Vaniyur Mariamman Teppakulam.

Relax in the afternoon. Visit the Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple in the evening and participate in the prayer ceremony.

Day 7 : Madurai - Chennai

Transfer to the airport for flight to Chennai. From there return back home.
